The venue boasts two separate function rooms. The Buell room seats over 85 and accommodates over 150 standing with its own toilet block, powder room for the ladies, separate stage if required, bar, integrated cinema quality screen and projector that can be used with your special events, meetings, or your own private movie showing, plus a cosy fire for those cool nights. Then there’s the VIP room for those who want a more intimate room that seats 26 guests with integrated presentation equipment for meetings or business presentations.
One of the stand out differences of these
function rooms is there is no charge, simply book and use. Order from our menu for a sit-down dinner or select platters for a cocktail function. This is also a family friendly venue providing high chairs for the little ones and a children’s menu. The Iron Horse Bar and Grill chefs prepare and create their own special sauces, parmys, ribs, patties, salads and desserts from fresh ingredients. A selection of beers, cider, and ginger beer are available on tap, with an extensive range of premixed and top shelf brands filling the refrigerators and shelves. A selection of local wines and barista made coffees can also be had.
A wide range of performers provide
live music every Saturday night with no cover charge. While you’re there take home some mementos, like an Iron Horse Tee shirt, stubby holder or a cap to remember the experience.
The Richardson’s Harley-Davidson Complex is truly unique and is one of Tasmania’s best known icons. Established by Simon Hrycyszyn in 1975, it is the oldest Motorcycle store in Tasmania, and one of Australia’s oldest. The complex houses Richardson’s Harley-Davidson, The new House of Motorcycles, and The Iron Horse Bar and Grill.
